First Studio Update. From here on, when something ships, a milestone clears, or a lesson is worth sharing across the portfolio, it lands here.
What shipped
totalventures.io got a new editorial home page, /posts (you are reading the first dispatch), three offer pages — Launch Checklist (free), Builder’s Playbook ($19, seven PDFs), and Strategy Session ($499) — plus a Cal.com booking flow and a Studio Update newsletter. Drip sequences and abandoned-cart recovery are wired through Resend; Stripe Checkout fires confirmation emails on success.
Behind the scenes: the funnel sections were prototyped on justintsugranes.dev first, then migrated here. The personal site stays minimal; the studio runs the funnel.
Numbers
Three published posts in Justin’s blog. Zero in this one until today. Lead-magnet PDF: 12 pages. Playbook bundle: 7 PDFs, ~85 pages combined. Stripe + Resend + Cal.com + Firebase Storage all wired and live.
What we learned
Two-thirds of the funnel build was content rebrand, not code. Copying Justin’s seven-PDF Builder’s Playbook source took an hour; rewriting it for a "we, the studio" voice would take another full day. We shipped the mechanical rebrand and parked the deeper voice pass — better to have the funnel converting against placeholder voice than to have perfect voice on a funnel nobody can buy.
The other lesson: do the destination before the redirect. We almost stripped Justin’s home funnel before TV’s offer pages existed. That would have left dead cross-promo links for a day. Build first; redirect after.
What is next
Three things we are watching this week: first Stripe transaction (the funnel actually firing end-to-end), drip-sequence trigger decision (Resend automation vs custom cron), and the PPH brand refresh another agent is running in parallel.
