Inky started as bedtime stories for a 2-year-old — ChatGPT stories read aloud, images copy-pasted into a Google Doc. It's now a production AI platform. Full-stack: native iOS app in Swift 6 and SwiftUI, Next.js web app, Firebase backend. Multi-stage Gemini + Imagen 4 generation pipeline with quality validation, credit reservation, safety filtering, and real-time progress. Word-level text-to-speech narration with read-along highlighting. Context-aware worldbuilding — AI author configs carry voice, series continuity, and character memory across stories.
